The Ortho Chick
“What I love about being an orthodontist in Fort Collins is how life-changing a gorgeous smile can be for an individual. The self-confidence that comes from being proud of your smile is nothing short of priceless. Orthodontic treatment is truly an investment in yourself with benefits that go beyond obtaining a functional bite.”
Dr. Laura Milnor received her undergraduate degree at Colorado State University, then attended dental school at The University of Iowa on an academic and research scholarship. She continued at The University of Iowa for her orthodontic residency and specialty training. Orthodontists receive an extra two-three years in specialized training beyond dental school, providing critical expertise in creating beautiful smiles that last a lifetime. She believes very strongly in continuing education and completes well over 100 hours every year.
Dr. Milnor was born and raised right here in Fort Collins and has a special place in her heart for this community. As a result, she strives to support the community and her patients in their educational experiences, athletics, and extracurricular activities.
As an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Colorado Dental Association (CDA), the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists (RMSO), and the Larimer County Dental Society (LCDS), she looks forward to continuing to learn and teach alongside her mentors and colleagues to provide the best-personalized care possible.

She is currently a key opinion leader for Dental Monitoring and sits on the scientific board for KLOwen Braces. She speaks professionally on behalf of these companies as well as Invisalign.
Her specialty is providing a modern orthodontic journey utilizing the most innovative technology available. She is an elite top provider of Clear Aligners and was one of the first orthodontists to start using Custom Braces.
When she’s not working as an orthodontist in Fort Collins, Dr. Milnor enjoys spending as much time outside as possible with her husband, Paris, her toy poodle, Moose, and Wolfie, a mini-goldendoodle. She believes there is nothing better than a beautiful day in Colorado and being able to enjoy it biking, hiking, skiing, or just plain relaxing. Her passions include anything athletic, animals, reading, and art.
Dr. Milnor feels truly blessed to be doing a job she loves transforming countless smiles and lives every day with an incredible team she considers family.
